Legal information

Privacy Policy

Discretion is part of our service, and that applies in full to your data. Here we explain in plain language what we collect, why, for how long, and what rights you have. No legal maze: if something is not clear, just ask us. The rules of the service itself are gathered in our Terms of Service.

Controller

Who is responsible for your data

The controller of the personal data is DrinkDrive.BG.

Get in touch with us on any personal data matter:

  • Email:
  • Phone:
What and why

What data we collect

Only what we cannot get you home without.

When you call or fill in the request form

  • Name: so we know who we are speaking to
  • Phone number: to confirm the request and reach the team on the spot
  • Departure address and arrival address: to carry out the trip and calculate the price
  • Preferred time: when booking
  • Message content: if you choose to write us anything extra yourself

When your company has a corporate account

What we do NOT collect

We do not ask for your national ID number, we do not ask what or how much you have had to drink, and we record nothing about your condition. We do not sell or hand over your data to third parties for advertising: to no one, under any conditions.

Grounds

Why we collect it

  • To carry out your request: without an address and a phone number there is no way to send a team (legal basis: performance of a contract)
  • To issue an invoice to corporate clients (legal basis: legal obligation)
  • To reply to an enquiry you have sent us yourself (legal basis: legitimate interest in replying to you)

We do not send you marketing messages unless you have explicitly agreed. And even then you can opt out with a single email.

Retention

How long we keep it

Data from requests and trips

months after the trip, after which it is deleted

Data from enquiries without an order

months after the last contact

Invoices and accounting documents

As long as the accounting law requires, not a day longer

Rights

Your rights

At any time you can ask us to:

  • Access: tell you what data about you we hold
  • Rectification: correct a wrong number or address
  • Erasure: delete your data when we no longer need it for a legal obligation
  • Restriction: stop using it while we clarify a disputed matter
  • Portability: hand it over to you in a readable format
  • Objection: refuse processing based on legitimate interest

Write to us and we reply within one month, usually much faster.

If you believe we are violating your rights, you can lodge a complaint with the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP): Sofia, 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd, cpdp.bg. But we would be glad if you talked to us first: the matter is almost always resolved with a single email.

Technical details

Cookies

The site uses only strictly necessary cookies: the ones without which the pages do not work. We do not use advertising networks and we do not track your behaviour across the internet. If we ever add analytics tools, we will ask you first through a clear banner with a real choice.

Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with restricted access. Our drivers see only what they need for the trip: name, phone number and the two addresses. Nothing more, and nothing afterwards.

Changes to this policy

When something changes, we publish the new version here, with an update date. We will announce material changes visibly on the site.
