Terms of Service

The DrinkDrive.BG service runs on four core conditions. The price is final and is quoted before your order is confirmed. Driving the client’s car is covered by insurance for the full duration of the trip. The client travels in their own car or in the accompanying car. If damage occurs through the fault of one of our drivers, liability rests with the provider and is settled through the insurance cover.

Here we explain how our service works from a legal standpoint: what we promise you, what we expect from you, and who is responsible for what. We have tried to keep it in plain language, without clauses that need a lawyer to be understood.

Who provides the service

The “Drink and Drive” service on the DrinkDrive.BG site is provided by DrinkDrive.BG, referred to below as “we” or “the provider”.

What the words here mean

  • The service: a professional driver drives your car to an address you specify, while a second driver follows in our car and takes the team back once the trip is done.
  • Trip: one delivery of the service, from the departure address to the arrival address.
  • Client: you, the person who orders the trip, or the company holding a corporate account.
  • Final price: the final amount for the trip, quoted to you before the team sets off towards you. It does not change during the trip.

How an order is placed

You order in one of two ways:

  • By phone: you tell us where from and where to, we tell you the final price and the arrival time. The order is placed when you confirm the price.
  • Through the form on the site: you leave contact details, we call you, quote the price, and the order is placed when you confirm it on the phone.

Without a price confirmed by you there is no order: you will never learn the amount only once we are at your address.

The most important rule: the price is quoted in advance and is final. No per-kilometre add-ons during the trip, no surcharges for taking the team back.

What we owe you

  • An insured driver: your car being driven by our driver is covered by insurance for the full duration of the trip.
  • A final price: quoted and confirmed before departure, with no hidden add-ons.
  • Delivery of the trip: from the departure address to the arrival address, along a reasonable route, treating your car with proper care.
  • Discretion: our cars carry no branding, and your data is processed under our personal data rules.

What we expect from you

  • Valid vehicle registration: the vehicle must be lawfully registered and hold a valid third-party liability (Civil Liability) insurance.
  • Roadworthiness: the car must be fit to be driven on the road. If our driver judges that the car is dangerous to drive, they may decline the trip at no charge to you.
  • Presence: during the trip you travel in your own car or in our accompanying car. We do not transport cars without the client.
  • Accurate information: correct addresses and a heads-up about any quirks of the car (LPG system, temperamental gearbox, alarm).

Declining and cancellation

  • You may cancel an order with no penalty up until the agreed time, or before the team has set off towards you.
  • If you cancel after the team has set off, you owe a charge.
  • We may decline a trip in the case of a technically unfit car, missing registration, or behaviour that endangers the team; in these cases you owe nothing, unless the trip has already begun.

Liability and insurance

For damage to your car caused through the fault of one of our drivers during the trip, the liability is ours. The damage is documented on the spot and settled through the insurance cover, subject to limits.

We are not liable for: damage present before the trip began; items left in the car and not declared to the driver above a certain value; consequences of hidden technical defects you did not warn us about.

Price and payment

  • The price is final and is quoted before the order is confirmed, in line with the prices on the site.
  • Payment methods:.
  • For corporate clients with a corporate account we work with monthly invoicing on terms agreed in a separate contract.

Complaints and claims

If something did not go the way it should have, write to us or give us a call. We respond within a set time. We would rather sort the matter out with you directly, quickly and without formalities.

Applicable law

For anything not covered by these terms, Bulgarian law applies, including the Consumer Protection Act. If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you can turn to the Consumer Protection Commission (CPC): Sofia, 4A Slaveykov Square, kzp.bg. Disputes that are not resolved by mutual agreement are referred to the competent Bulgarian court.

Changes to these terms

When something changes, we publish the new version on this page with an update date. Changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
